Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known as the lead actor in the popular television series 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. He identified his interest towards acting in his early days at school and attended acting classes at The University of Colorado at Boulder. He's been featured in TV and films, however the small screen characters that made him famous and earned him a large fan base. He's able to seamlessly play characters that are on both sides legal system and draw the public's interest. He was the voice of one of the killers in his very first series on television but later went on to play the role in the role of a NYPD detective.
